I have been with this practice for most of my life. In recent times the service has gone completely lax. They take up to 45 minutes to see you for your own appointment, when you ask why it took them so long they get rude, then they blame cuts. The complimentary medicine doctors are all gone, and they all seem really stressed and frazzled. They also cancel appointments up to an hour before your appointment. The nurses are lovely, skilled, well informed. The doctors, however leave a lot to be desired.
Absolutely awful service, incompetent Doctors, repeatedly making mistake, if it's not with the care it's with the medication.
I had a health check up with the Nurse who understood my situation and help me with necessary care, tests, further advice & guidance. Receptionist was kind and helpful. I did not have to wait more than 2 minutes and I was called in. The surgery was clean and tidy. I had the chance to drink water from their freely supplied water filter. Overall, I was satisfied with the service that was provided to me with kindness and understanding, which I really expect. Thank you!
absolutely shocking.. im moving to a different doctor. 3 week appointment time.. Then they cancel...it has happened 3 times in a row now.
They put you on a medication that's not easy to get elsewhere but don't really care at all when they cancel you that they have left you in a fix.

As a whole, the service provided my the Cavendish health centre is the best that I have experienced from any of the previous NHS GP Clinics.
Although the GPs serving in the Cavendish health centre are on balance quite competent in their jobs, there is particularly one GP by the name of DR. Balouch that has impressed me highly. He is not only very enlightened in his profession but is also good in understanding and evaluating the patient's needs and on how to gain the patient's confidence in him. Dr Balouch skills in communications thought simple, are very effective in gaining the patient trust and the feeling of security. He genuinely takes an interest in his patient's health condition and how to deal with them in the most effective manner.
